As a Senior Developer, I led projects for software development that bridges the gap between systems and infrastructure. I have engineered the company's backup infrastructure, their monitoring system and resource graphing system, both in a distributed fashion which spans all of their datacenters across the globe. As a Senior Sys Admin, I was responsible for keeping all servers properly running, optimizing the OS and applications to the hardware specs of each server based on the customers needs.

I was responsible for the design and management of the Metropolitan Area Network of the ISP and its connection to the Internet. I led a small team of experts in Linux and Computer Network, keeping an infrastructure of a few hundred Linux routers running a system I developed. The system consisted of a centralised repository with all QoS rules for the entire network. Each router could access those rules and based on its pre-configured location within the network they would calculate the rules that had to be applied to their network interfaces. During the three years I managed the ISP’s network a growth of 700% was observed both in infrastructure and number of customers connected to the network.
