The primary focus of my work was on the production and enhancement of extracellular matrix (collagen in particular) using a human corneal in vitro model. To achieve this goal along with my collaborator's works, I developed an expertise in cryo preservation, the rare but extremely useful "quick-freeze/deep-etch" technique, TEM/SEM, as well as other imaging techniques.My collaborations include working on a variety of animal models and ultrastructural analysis for proteins and tissue.
