My role as a Superannuation & KiwiSaver Consultant was to inform, enroll and assist customers with their retirement savings plan by making them aware of all the benefits and advantages of having such savings plan for their retirement. My responsibilities were to make sure the signing up process was an easy and hassle free experience while making sure they had a comprehensive understanding of all the risks, benefits and advantages of having a backup plan for their retirement as the pension barely covers what is required to have a pleasurable and satisfactory retirement.

As an insurance adviser, I was responsible for contacting and creating rapport with customers who did not have insurance with TOWER Insurance. I did so through making outbound calls and creating conversations surrounding their current coverage and their current needs. By creating rapport and accessing each customer’s needs through careful listening, I was then not only able to provide the right product/cover, but was also able to identify and explain what TOWER’s point of difference was compared to their current insurance provider, whether it was our customer service, more sufficient coverage or simply more affordable premiums. Through hard work and providing outstanding customer service to clients, I became one of TOWER’s most successful Outbound Insurance Advisers for the year 2012 which eventually lead me to be promoted to TOWER Investment as a consultant, specialising in Superannuation and KiwiSaver Schemes.

Throughout the five years of service at Vodafone, I began as a Sales Consultant at St Lukes and was promoted to a Second In Charge (2IC) position at the new built Albany Store.
