Accomplished professional with over 35 years of experience in various facets across the Mine Survey value chain.Fulfilled roles in both the operational and corporate environment. Gleaned exposure throughout from input in concept studies, to mine planning, to eventual mine closure exercises.Occupied positions from legally appointed Mine Surveyor, to Survey and Planning Manager, and currently Group Surveyor. Exposed to commodities ranging from diamonds to gold, platinum and coal.Served in various capacities in the Institute of Mine Surveyors of Southern Africa including as President for the period 2018-2019. Career highlights encompass harnessing my industry experience to compile the script of an Institute of Mine Surveyors educational video clip that highlights aspects throughout the Survey Mining value chain, and currently an exercise of embedding Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems in Exxaro.Key strengths include comfortably embracing change - change to the environment and the introduction of technology - with a stubborn determination to efficiently steer projects through to completion.
