I am Ebrahim Rupawala, a Chartered Accountant from India (Mumbai) , a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the USA and a Bachelor of Commerce (Mumbai University, India). I have 20 years plus of vast international experience (mainly in the gulf - Oman and UAE) in the field of accounting, finance, investing and auditing (with big international audit firms like Coopers, Deloitte and Arthur Andersen) .I have worked in a USA MNC in Dubai, UAE as a Financial Controller (responsible for MENA region) for 8 years until Aug 2019. I was in a senior position with power of attorney being entrusted to me by the parent company in the USA. Also I was the authorised signatory as per company's trade license and in the bank. I was involved in top management's strategic decisions and was involved in high level financial reporting to the top management in the USA.Prior to that I was working as a group Finance Manager in Muscat, Oman for a group of companies for almost 14 years (plus also Family Office).At present , I am a self employed equity investor and doing financial research of listed companies in India.
