Balham Fc Manager
Current• Responsible for creating the playing methodology for the South London-based club• Create a game model that has enabled Balham FC to compete successfully • This is in the Combined Counties League Premier Division, step 5 of the football pyramid• Take charge of all 1st team and reserve team match day duties• This includes tactical set-up, style of play and team selection• Align all training to the club’s philosophy and ethos• Design and implement innovative sessions, including advanced set-piece drills• Plan, prepare and deliver structured coaching sessions • Tailor these to individual players’ development goals• Ensure the sessions are enjoyable as well as challenging• Review match footage and analysis videos• Utilise the latest software and technical tools to provide constructive feedback• Act as a role model in terms of professionalism, discipline and standards of behaviour• Help to instil the values of a strong work ethic, enthusiasm and physical preparation• Encourage young players to progress along the development pathway into the 1st teamKey Achievements✔ Chosen to be part of the 2022 England C squad coaching team✔ This was for the international match against Wales✔ Worked alongside Head Coach Paul Fairclough and Assistant Anwar Uddin✔ Selected as one of 5 male coaches to be part of the FA Mentee Group in 2021/22 ✔ Also selected for the FA Development Group 2020✔ Accepted for the FA Level 2 Tutor programme for season 2022-23✔ Reached the semi-final of the London Senior Cup in 2021-22✔ Won against three teams from higher divisions along the way✔ Introduced 8 youth team players into the 1st team environment✔ Five of whom played regularly in 2021-22 season
