My Ph.D. research is about designing a new generation of organizational e-Learning systems called Personal Learning Environments (PLEs). PLEs represent a multidisciplinary concept underpinned by the recent advancements in Web 2.0 technologies and rooted in several learning theories and human development concepts such as self-regulated and self-directed.

• Performing quantitative research including data analysis, AHP, survey, and learning analytic using different tools including Gephi, SPSS, Microsoft ACCESS, and Collector.
• Performing qualitative research including interview, field observation, and content analysis using tools including Atlas.ti.Results: identifying factors affecting the knowledge updating/competency development of call.
