I received my PhD degree on Spatial Information Engineering from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2014. My PhD thesis was focused on the development of generic models to extract the roof materials using high spatial resolution satellite imagery.I have gained extensive experience working for 8 years in airborne LiDAR survey technology as a senior remote sensing specialist and project manager in Ground Data Solutions R&D Sdn Bhd (GDS), a well-known Malaysian airborne LiDAR survey services provider in Malaysia. During my tenure, I was involved in more than 30 medium to large scale LiDAR projects, delivering high-quality data for a diverse range of clients.In 2021, I was appointed as a project manager at Planetary Remote Sensing and currently, I have joined Kîsik Aerial Survey as a senior Geospatial Product Manager. My industrial experience has given me an in-depth understanding of the LiDAR technology and its applications, making me adept at delivering tailored solutions to meet clients' specific needs.Apart from my industrial experience, I was appointed as a lecturer for remote sensing and GIS applications courses for postgraduate students at UPM for 4 years. This role gave me the opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise with the next generation of professionals in the field.
