Ms. E. Brito is a bilingual psychotherapist, a graduate from New York University with a degree in Clinical Social Work in 2000 as well as a recipient of a BA in Psychology from the City College of New York in 1998. Her professional experience includes working in various community outpatient mental health settings as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor providing care to children, adolescents and adults while providing clinical and administrative supervision to staff. She has provided psychotherapy services in a private practice setting in NYC. Ms. Brito has also been employed with KidsPeace in the position of Senior Clinician working with Co-Occurring adolescents in a residential setting. She has held a position as an Adjunct Professor with Lehigh Carbon Community College, providing instruction for classes in the Human Services Program and Sociology Department. Ms. Brito has also provided assessments and consultations for Co-Occurring patients at PACCO Recovery, LLC.Ms. Brito was affiliated with St. Luke's Behavioral Health in Bethlehem, P.A. where she provided individual, family, couples and group therapy for both adolescents and adults in both English and Spanish. In her position, Ms. Brito developed clinical trainings for staff, provided supervision for mastered level counseling students, participated in radio interviews as well as write ups in local newspapers & community magazines based on mental health issues.Her specialties include mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, trauma counseling (PTSD), ADHD, anger management, parenting, loss & bereavement, mindfulness/meditation, LGBTQ and women's issues.Ms. Brito takes great pride in working with her small bundles of joy, Cody & Mia, both certified therapy dogs with Therapy Dogs International (TDI), a non-profit, nationally recognized volunteer organization.
