I enable teaching staff with research to make informed decisions with regards to their teaching and learning.I've been a core member of the teaching staff in the Postgraduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching, a key strategic teaching staff development programme, since 2009. This reflective programme aims to provide teaching staff with the theoretical and practical tools they need to consciously and deliberately shape the learning environment for their students to enable good student outcomes.I'm a member of the Incident Management Team, which manages the university in case of emergency. I'm part of the Academic work stream, advising the Incident Controllers on the impacts of emergencies, and possible courses of action on the university's capability to engage in research, teaching and learning, and outline strategic and operational priorities to mitigate the impacts on these. Responsible for all academic development and institutional research in support of teaching and learning at the university. Ex officio member of Academic Board (the highest academic advisory body to the senior management team), the Learning and Teaching Committee (university-wide strategic guidance on teaching and learning), and the Academic Administration Committee (university-wide strategic guidance on academic programmes, quality assurance, and reviewing students' academic progress).
