About Emma Brook
I was all set and ready to go to university to do linguists - and I never left the car! Following this I started working within a car garage assisting with the accounts and bookkeeping duties. During my time within this role I was encouraged to study accountancy and I have never looked back.I'm still unsure as to how I got the bug for accountancy but it made sense and was interesting, the fact 2 + 2 = 4 regardless of the situation or the ongoing challenges we all face appealed to me. On a personal note I like nothing better than curling up with a good murder mystery, dreaming and reliving a former life as Mrs Hercule Poirot, of times when I travelled with Poirot on the Orient Express and sailed down the Nile solving murders and unexplained crimes. I am devoted to my 2 children and my husband is not bad either!
