Integral in several projects for Culver's Franchise. This included initiating amicroservice based architecture that was the foundation for several internal ReactJSapplications as well as the public website and new mobile ordering app. When COVIDforced Culver's to close its dining rooms, they needed to quickly set up online orderingcapabilities which included moving to a new identity provider. Eric was chosen to leadthis effort which included complex requirements for data syncing and passwordretention. In the latest project, Eric helped in all phases of a new custom mobileapp to integrate with their online ordering system.• Full-stack development of several ReactJS sites with .NET Core microservices.• Created and maintained numerous build pipelines for .NET Services, ReactJS sites,Nugets, React Native Mobile App as well as PR validation.• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for all Azure resources.• Developed backend service to sync data nightly across multiple vendors.• Developed Azure ADB2C custom policies with integration into existing websiteand 3rd party vendor using OAuth.• Architected geo-redundancy in Azure across multiple databases and services.• Work with QA on multi-region load testing to determine proper scaling andintegration testing analysis to find and address issues.

Helped Culver's Franchise in the initial cloud migration of a multi-phase project. This involved preliminary detailed analysis of the customer's application suite to ensure it was cloud ready. Installed and configured several tools in the production environment to gather telemetry data and queried Application Insights and Log Analytics to expose many previously unknown dependencies and issues.

Helped in all phases of a new mobile app for Master Lock. The cloud-first backend utilized many modern technologies including .NET Core API, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Service Bus and CosmosDB (Graph and Document). The initial engagement was for a proof of concept to model complex relationships using a graph DB. In the extension, Eric was responsible for implementing a module that used Mass Transit to apply the Saga pattern across several distributed systems. This allowed the user to migrate devices from the old system using distributed transactions and failover in the microservices architecture.

Involved in several areas of development for the company's IoT product. This required quickly learning several new technologies including Big Data (Event Hubs, STORM, HBase, Phoenix), Serverless Architecture (Azure functions, Service Bus), Mobile Apps (Android, iOS) as well as front end platforms (Angular2, Redux). Ability to quickly grasp key concepts and patterns to contribute in a fast-paced Agile environment. This complex system also involved integration with several distributed systems and 3rd party vendors.

Eric supervised all technical aspects of a multi-client start-up application. This included meeting with key stakeholders to provide a thorough analysis and architecting a cloud-based SOA solution. Leveraging several Microsoft Azure services, this allowed a central API to be consumed by both a responsive MVC website as well as cross platform mobile apps. The project was well received in the validation phase.

Led the technical implementation on multiple projects for several clients. This included a dynamic UI wizard that used jQuery to integrate with an existing CMS system. Leveraged several JavaScript libraries to build complex UX animations and interactions as well as a reusable navigation framework using HTML5. Worked on several n-tier background tasks to process data and orchestrate business rules.

Led several high profile, customer facing projects. This included strategy and planning with high level representatives from multiple departments to create a 5-year roadmap for website and mobile strategy. Responsible for developing a multi-phase architecture plan to support various personalized marketing strategies. Participated in Enterprise Architecture planning and helped Roundy’s adopt several patterns for application architecture.

Provided expertise with the integration of several custom applications with Onyx CRM systems for multiple clients. This included a new high-profile customer lead generation program of which Eric was solely responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing and rollout. The application included many first-time technologies for the company including Web Services, Credit Card processing, real-time address validation and dealer assignment.
