In my role, I was in charge of overseeing and implementing the Camp's overall marketing strategy across all platforms including their website, social media, advertising, and their quarterly publication the Courier. I was in charge of assessing the strategy and branding of the organization and providing unique and innovative ideas for taking Camp into the future. I directly developed the Camp's quarterly newsletter, the Courier, including the layout and design as well as the editorial content with assistance from the administrative staff. I was also involved in seeking out and coordinating sponsorships for the vast areas of Camp that outside businesses and individuals can get involved with and support.

As Account Executive for Oreana Communications, I was in charge of the company's personal branding via social media, website and our blog. I am also involved in new business research. I assist in the ongoing projects we have with our various agribusiness and non-profit organizational clients. I assist in the creation and implementation of communication plans for various campaign and product launches as well as event planning. I am involved in the capturing and editing of video and audio content, video scripts, and bylines as well as the implementation of social media strategies for our clients.

I created, integrated and executed all digital marketing strategies on behalf of the NSCAA. Oversee the use and implementation of all email marketing campaigns for every department, including Education and Events. I developed and executed integrated marketing campaigns using all platforms (email, social media, website, and print) for major product and event launches including the annual NSCAA Convention, Summer and Winter Residential programs, new product launches, reaching audiences of 30,000+ coaches on social media and an email database of over 80,000 contacts.I solely coordinated the 30 Under 30 scholarship program including the execution of YouTube Live Chats, mentor meet-ups, and ensured all candidates and mentors were adhering to guidelines throughout the year-long program as well as oversaw entirety of the selection process for both mentees and mentors.I oversaw the creation, implementation and consistent updating of the NSCAA.com website and social media content through the RiSE CMS platform, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and aided in all brand continuity efforts.

I drafted materials including press releases, emails, consumer facing documents, copy for company social media platforms and key messaging for communication plans and developed local and national media lists, integrated editorial calendars, pitched media, monitored results on traditional and social platforms and contributed to results reporting on national campaigns, major medical meetings, and large product franchises for clients like Genentech, Bayer Animal Health, Dow AgroSciences, and Hallmark.I also coordinated client and internal event logistics and communications with outside vendors with minimal involvement from supervisors.

I oversaw public relations strategies i.e. Letter to the Editor volunteer writer database and statewide daily press clips, social media, and audio/visual marketing for the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids Region.I was responsible for coordinating four events for both campus and community residents, volunteer recruitment for campaign expansion, phone banks, and clip-boarding/tabling execution at designated community events.

I created, executed and managed all social media content, mastering strategy development and copy creation for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Promoted program through live event-based social media coverage, implementation of social media engagement contests, and implementation of “Tagged” recruitment campaign.I also participated in brainstorms on curriculum restructuring and marketing strategies. Developed marketing materials for recruitment campaigns and restructuring unveiling. Additionally I aided in the execution of event logistics for bi-annual program-wide events including LeadersLive.

I ran the Logistics side of the Fine Arts Council at The University of Iowa, helping organize, plan, and execute our fine art shows. I maintain a list of contacts that the Council works with in all areas to help organize and create our two art shows, the Holiday Thieve's Market and Riverbank Art Fair including IMU event services, IMU catering and so on.

Communications intern for the Sustainability office, working to write press releases, help plan and promote events, and primarily working on maintaing our website using Silverstripe. I have the opportunity to work with a variety of people that the office works with as well as a great group of central people within the office.

Assisted the executive logistics director to create dynamic and inviting art shows on The University of Iowa campus by keeping in contact with key members of the University of Iowa community who help the council conduct the logistics of our event such as planning, scheduling, etc. Contacts included IMU Event Services, IMU catering, Iowa City Starbucks, and area wineries.

I was a part of the photography staff that covered all sections of the paper including metro, arts and sports. I attended local events in the Iowa City and Coralville area, university sporting events including Iowa Hawkeye Football Games at Kinnick Stadium, Iowa Women's Volleyball games at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and women's soccer games at the Iowa Soccer Complex.

Summer intern for the newspaper, working with the editors and publishers as a reporter, photographer, and columnist to cover news for Monticello, Jones County and surrounding areas. I pitched my own story ideas, pursued stories, interviewed civilians, students, politicians and the like. Took on photo assignments, including working The Great Jones County Fair events and helped format and design several editions throughout my time there.

I was a reporter for the Arts and Culture Department that creates the 80 Hours Section every Thursday as well as the Social Media Editor who controls and updates the Facebook and Twitter Accounts for all DI departments.

I served food and drinks to customers as well as hosted where I would greet people coming into the restaurant, seated them, fielded any questions they may have, answered the phone and scheduled reservations.

I handled the day to day orders that arrived via internet and then filled out those invoices, shipping them to their destinations with the correct stock items. I also inventoried the stock of the shipping department and fielded questions from customers via email and phone.
