I have worked in both the service and childcare industries for years now. My time in the service industry has included a job at Tully Good Times in Vestal, NY as a server and an expo. I have also worked as a waitress at Olive Garden in Binghamton, NY, and Brooklyn, NY. These jobs taught me how to work in a fast-paced environment, engage in positive customer service, and manage many tasks at once. My experience with childcare started in my teenage years, with a combination of volunteer work at local dance classes and summer camps and babysitting for local families. In the last couple of years, I have continued to gain experience. I have done this through summer camps (primarily working with rising first graders), babysitting for families of all ages (from two months old to twelve years old), and running a Girl Scout Troop. I love working with children and my time in this field has encouraged me to take up a minor in Education. I am set to graduate in December, with plans to attend graduate school for a Master's in Early Childhood Education the following fall.
