Clinical Research Coordinator
CurrentPart of a study team dedicated to improving the lives of those with depression and chronic kidney disease. Collaborates with clinicians, image analysts and researchers at the School of Medicine. Manages a study funded by the NIDDK, NIH. The goal of the study is to find effective treatments (antidepressant vs. behavioral activation therapy) for depression of chronic kidney disease.- Screens eligible participants (Depression Screenings - Quick Inventory of Depressive Symptomatology/QIDS-SR, The Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview/MINI)- Participant recruitment- Updates Participant Data in REDCap- Aids in Grant writing, IRB submissions and modifications- Processing blood samples using aseptic techniques.- Documenting research encounters.
