With over 10 years of clinical experience and a leader in the health sector, I have been involved in various projects and initiatives that aim to improve the quality and accessibility of health care in Ghana and beyond. As a Specialist Surgeon and former Medical Director with CHAG, I oversaw the clinical operations and standards of a 200-bed capacity hospital, ensuring that they deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. As a Quality Assurance Project Lead, I collaborated with the JCI to support quality improvement initiatives and certification of health organizations in CHAG, applying my skills in epidemiology, project management, and leadership. I also have a strong academic background, with a master's degree in public health, certificates in global and occupational health, and multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. I am passionate about advancing the field of medicine and public health, especially in low- and middle-income countries, where I can leverage my expertise and experience to improve accessibility, safety and quality of healthcare.
