• Assembled and repaired a pilot-scale chemical plant consisting of reactors (electrochemical cell and trickle-bed reactor), separation units (stripping column, liquid-liquid separator), pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm.
• Started-up, shut-down, idled, and operated the plant via Allen-Bradley PLC according to SOPs, and monitor process parameters on OSIsoft PI ProcessBook
• Calibrated, installed, and maintained industrial instrumentation such as level sensors/switches, thermocouples/RTDs, pH meters, pressure sensors, and flowmeters
• Prepared, sampled, and analyzed reactant solutions (xxx- trade secret!) with Metrohm Tiamo ORP titrations, Agilent 7890B GC-FID and GC-MS, and Thermo-Fisher iCAP 6000 series ICP-OES spectroscopy
• Laid off as part of ~50% downsizing and rebranding of company in Sept. 2015

• Analyzed compositions of reclaimed refrigerants using five GC-FID instruments
• Maintained and calibrated analytical instruments for the wet, dry, and mobile labs
• Certified batches of recycled refrigerants and SF6 by experimentally determining air, moisture, and oil content
• Separated R-22 refrigerant as both the light key and heavy key component in two batch distillation columns and blended it with purer R-22 to produce final product
