Just a cog in the wheel of the local government machine. Kidding, kidding (mostly). I'm devoted to creating housing affordability through good government and public-private partnership. I've worked at the state and local levels to bring evidence-based housing policies and programs to life. Some of my proudest work includes standing up the Orange County, NC Emergency Housing Assistance program at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, securing $4 million from federal, state, and local sources, and disbursing emergency rent and utility assistance to more than 1,200 households. In my current work in Raleigh, I oversee the City's housing and community development initiatives, including assistance for first-time homebuyers and homeowners in need of home repairs, gap financing for affordable rental developments, disposition and development strategies for City-owned land, and ending homelessness through housing.Outside of housing, I enjoy running (including running after my toddler) and reading.
