AIV Manager for the MIRI instrument on James Webb Space Telescope. Organised and ran all aspects of the assembly, integration and verification activities for the cryogenically cooled instrument. Included conducting all types of environmental test plus instrument calibration and characterisation. Led the delivery process for delivering the hardware to NASA GSFC for integration to the JWST.

Thermal engineer and thermal lead on the James Webb Space Telescope Mid-InfraRed Instrument. Building and running thermal analyses in ESARAD and ESATAN and advising the rest of the systems design team on necessary design modifications. Maintaining cryogenic performance budgets and defining interface definitions, first to a solid H2 Dewar then to a mechanical cryocooler, provided by NASA.
