Evaluates Contractor's Quality manual in conjunction with the project requirements. Prepares Project Quality Plan specific to the project contract requirements and scope of works. Reviews the contractors Inspection Test Plans and all QA/QC documentations including Project Quality Plan. Work closely with Client/PMC in developing project specific quality procedures and KPIs. Reviews and comments on various submittals, including test results, method statements, materials and alternate material proposals submitted by contractors. Plan and lead (as necessary), assessment visits/audits to suppliers and sub-contractors. Also conduct internal audit to ensure company’s compliance with quality management system. Develop and establish performance evaluation of the Contractor thru KPIs. Participate in Mock up inspections/ stage inspections and ascertain that the work is executed in accordance with the contract document and approved standards. Inspects the on-site and off-site materials to be used in the project, organize/witness field and laboratory Tests, conducted by third parties on construction materials to ascertain their compliance with the specification. Conducts and co-ordinate site quality meetings in conjunction with PM/RE, client, PMC and contractor. Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with Discipline engineers on a daily basis. Issues NCRs or anyobservation reports for any minor and major non-conformances and review the corrective actions proposed by the contractor, respond/follow ups and close out procedure. Assist the Resident Engineer and whole supervision team on a daily basis. Prepares quality monthly report. Assess and present various quality observations to help avoid recurrences.

Review and approvals of material submittals and method statements based on project requirements and specification. Lead a team of inspectors and delegate works accordingly including updating of the informations, discussion concerning quality, progress and any site related issues. Prepare site instructions and non-conformance report and following up the same with the contractor with regards to remediation works and closing out. Responds to the contractor’s queries with regards to site changes (i.e., design changes, Request for information, resolution of site problems, etc.). Prepare and submit technical bulletins related to any particular site issues. Assist in the implementation of health and safety policies of the project. Prepares weekly and monthly report. Develop and maintain a monitoring system for tracking and updating site progress using MS Excel. Conduct weekly QAQC meeting with client, PMC and contractor.

In charge of the diversions of the utilities like HV/LV cables and water lines (DEWA), fibre optics (ETISALAT) and sewer/irrigation line which are affecting the alignment of the piles and piers. Coordinate with the subcontractor and local authorities regarding the diversions which include NOC preparations, utility information through trial pit and if required, traffic diversions and removal/reinstallation of landscapes. Liaise daily with the Engineer (SYSTRA/PARSONS) regarding work inspections and schedules. Meet and discuss with the subcontractor’s representative regarding progress of works, billing, and construction related problems and how to resolve it. Prepare a look ahead program and coordinate with the concerned department (Underground/ Overground/ Viaduct and Stations) regarding completion of diversions and handing - over’s. Prepare the site for handing over which includes NOC’s, utility drawings, utility demarcation at site and Utility Notice Board to the Underground / Overground section.

• Manage day to day activities in the village including the maintenance, security, queries from clients, inspection of works of the contractor. • Meet with the client/owners and attend to their concerns and request. • Prepare all necessary documents for awarding units for construction to the contractor like shop drawing, client specific request, materials requisitions. • Regularly meet with the contractors and subcontractor to tackle issues regarding progress of works, billing, materials requisition, etc. • Prepare a detailed report including progress, status of each units, manpower of each contractor, progress billing.
