She started as a group exercise instructor in Melbourne for Vital health and Fitness Little Collins Street1980 Tamara moved to Spain , where she opened her first group exercise studio "Aerobic with Tamara" , Tamara also joined the Regional Basque Athletic Team , competing in Cross Country and Track and Field . In 1986 she returned to NZ started taking group exercuse classes fom the local school Gym Tonic 1988 started working for World Gym (Mark Beasley) as group exercise Instructor and Fitness Instructor and in 1989 attended Network Australia Fitness Leader Course and Group exercise Fitness Instructor Course, completed and certified 1990 completed and certified in Advanced Resistance Training presented by Ashley Jones 1991 completed certification Level One National Strength nd Conditioning 1992 Aerobic Co ordinator PersonalTrainer and Fitness instructor Club Phyzeke Papakura (Roy and Kath Scahill) 1993 Lecturer for Network NZ 1996 graduated Diploma Sport Studies Otago 1997 Launched Aqua Instructor Module with Keri parkinson (Australia) 1998 New Zealand Fitness Leader of the Year 1998 1999 2000 Rehabilitation Trainer Vodafone Warriors 2000 opened The Multi training Studio 2002 Graduated Post graduated Diploma Rehabilitation 2003 Moved to Whangamata re opened Studio 2008 Bought Bodywork Gym Whangamata
