Global Commodity Sourcing

- Business Owner and Project Leader of Asian Sourcing for Institutional business of Interline Brand (more than 50% of company revenue). - Category Business Analysis. Work with US Category Merchant and Suppliers to conduct Category Review / Line Review for different categories, analyze current business performance and market trend, and identify potential sourcing opportunities.- Supplier Landscape Built-up. Compare the Pros and Cons of different countries/areas for different categories, build Supplier/Manufacturer Matrix and identify potential Supplier/Manufacturer/Projects resources.- Project Set-up and Accomplishment, including New Product Initiation, Line selection, Supplier/Manufacturer qualification, Cost / Business terms negotiation, and Project Submission.- Supply Chain Management, to achieve on-time delivery of each order and to fix issues that have or would impair Supply Chain efficiency.- Import Business and Private Brand Buiness Enhancement, both volume and penetration rate.- Work with multi-functional teams to operate daily business, settle business issues and achieve business goal, including Supplier, Product Development, Brand Marketing, Buyer, Engineering, Quality Control, Logistics, etc. - Problem Solving.

- Supplier/Manufacturer resource identification and management, including Sourcing new suppliers, Pre-assess new suppliers, Supplier Performance evaluation, etc.- Product Development and Project Management. Work with suppliers and buying team on new product development, cost-down project, risk-mitigation project, etc.- Buying Trip Organizor and leader. Plan, coordinate and lead buying trips for different activities and seasons. Make sure buyers and related functional teams can achieve the trip goal and make business decision most accurately and efficiently.- Supply Chain management to ensure products' on time delivery with guaranteed quality. - Problem Solving.
