British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong is a membership-based, none profit, none government organization in China, Britcham help members with business development through event, networking, introduction and referrals.The membership network of Britcham is comprised of companies operating in a wide range of sectors and industries, including Education, Hospitality, finance, Hi-Tech and healthcare etc.Main responsibility as Events Manager:-Play as strategic role with BCCG Chairman for planning relevant events as well as where membership growth should be ;-PMP certified and organise small (50 ppl) to large scale (4000 ppl) project events for region in various cities, as team lead on operation day;-Accountable of the overall implement of each project event, identify the key milestones and assign role/task responsibilities, handle disputes or risk scenarios;-Develop and maintain relationships with government and trade association as well as education heads in government and education institutes ;-Deeply involved with the membership service domain, often to outreach and meet new members to understand their needs and offering chamber services;-Manage accounts for chamber with various PR and media firms for events and marketing-Identify partnership opportunity;-Support Marketing Team on developing appropriate marketing strategy for specific project events
