I’ve been on a fascinating journey of teaching and learning for over 30 years. My academic adventure took me to earn a Ph.D. from UVA (Charlottesville, VA), an M.Phil. from HKU (Hong Kong), an M.Ed. from UNSW (Sydney), and a B.A. from UIR (Beijing). 🔬 Research & Authorship 🔬I was a teacher and then a professor (from K-12 to college undergraduate and graduate). My passion and curiosity-fueled research includes amazing interviews with 21 Nobel Prize winners and interviews with hundreds of teachers and parents from Asia and America. I’ve been a long-distance runner since I was a teenager. I enjoy doing aerobic exercise, sitting in my sauna, swimming and biking, and doing other outdoor activities. I love traveling, reading, gardening, decorating, cooking, and listening to music.
