Stepped down from Chairman role to refocus the organization, in less than a year, took the organization from a -$40k net income to $100k net income, cleared all outstanding debt and grossed over $500k, during the pandemic, provided exit plan out of the lease and helped keep the organization alive during the lockdown, rebooted organization out of pandemic, researched and negotiated real estate terms for a commercial lease, designed and remodeled 6k sqft. space working vendors and volunteers.● Management ○ Provide the Board and Stakeholders with a new mission statement and 5-year business & financial plan to expand the community membership and volunteer programs○ Work with Accounting and Treasurer on the annual budget for tax reporting○ Report and present monthly financials and operations to the Board of Directors on efforts to support the community of 250+ Members, hosting over 1000 tech-based events a year○ Product Managed development for “Donorable” opensource project to help with local nonprofit discovery and match-making with potential donors. ● Program Development○ Plan & coordinate the first STEM program, Transition to Tech, receiving the Hacker Dojo’s first grant for workforce development ○ Rebuild the alumni community in less than a year, receiving over $60k in alumni donations○ Engage with Developer Relations of large corporations for sponsorships to host workshop series and events. ● Community Advocacy ○ Collaborated with community leaders and industry experts to create the Hacker Dojo Lecture Series, weekly lectures on hot tech topics (i.e. AI & blockchain) bringing 50-80 new attendees per lecture○ Strengthened the brand by re-creating marketing materials with a consistent message, redesign the physical space and upgrade the community offerings○ Mentored early stage startups and provided introductions to engineers and VCs

● Business & Product Development○ Created 4 unique business model iterations to solve consumer packaged goods failure rates○ Learned to code in Swift and build an iOS app connected to a Linux based plug-in module to create as smart vending machine○ Structured and maintained backend servers to store captured consumer data and remotely view inventory○ Managed remote and local teams of workers to accelerate product iteration ● Customer Service & Sales○ Researched and sourced a pipeline with over 500 potential customers○ Pilot with over 50 unique customers to find product fit and best pricing model ○ Engaged with customers from initial contact, guided them through the data collection process, and reviewed their results with them○ Created assets for sales meetings and marketing collateral, i.e. case studies, customer testimonials, pitch deck, website revisions ○ Pulled customer data, find insights, and create a comprehensive infographic-style report

● Sales○ Developed client and public facing sales and marketing materials i.e. case studies, digital assets, and branding under highly constricted guidelines because of the company’s stealth-mode○ Filled, managed, and updated sales CRM pipeline from lead to close with weekly status updates○ Globally pitched over 300 retailers and led pilots for large enterprises in several continents○ Closed the company’s first national contract with an international retailer○ Created data visualizations and normalize data using bash, Python, SQL, JSON, and Tableau● Operations○ Worked side by side with Data Scientists and Mechanical Engineers to further develop a retail analytics platform using computer vision, audio analysis, and WiFi sniffing○ Build, format, test, and debug sensors through multiple iterations based on customer feedback and device uptime○ Deploy nation-wide pilot with over 150 sensors, required coordinating with internal teams, customer teams and contractors to maintain device uptime & data collection
