We created and managed a portfolio of startup companies that built new businesses and technology platforms for Walmart. Each business was built from initial concept through early commercial success before merging it into Walmart to implement at scale.Store No.8 created a dozen portfolio companies in a broad range of technology applications including Walmart InHome delivery available to 45 million households, computer vision capabilities in stores, conversational AI shopping experiences, commerce in metaverse and gaming worlds, augmented reality experiences for customers and associates, and health insights derived from retail data analytics.

Motion Computing created industry-leading tablet PC platforms and combined them with custom software, peripherals, and services for vertical markets such as healthcare and field force automation. Expatriate assignment as General Manager of one of Dell's largest international business units, serving the consumer and small business segments in the UK and Ireland markets. Grew the business 60% over two years, to just under $1Bn, while maintaining 9% operating income. Subsequently transferred to Dell's similar business unit in Brazil to turnaround the business and re-energize growth.

Coordinated with teams in Europe and Asia to develop localized execution of the strategy.Winner of the Computerworld Smithsonian 21st Century Pioneer Award and featured at the Smithsonian Museum of American History for a year.
