Beside his journalistic activities he was engaged as communication consultant for broadcast- and IT-companies, as publisher of a German media-yearbook and as consultant for media events. For 11 years he was publisher of the media magazine MEDIEN BULLETIN, the live production special mebulive Produktion and the media business community websites mebucom.de and mebucom.com Eckhard Eckstein holds a Magister degree from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where he studied communication sciences, political sciences, americanistic and ethnology (1977 – 1982).
