Eclipse Clothing and Accessories was founded in 2007 by Roosevelt Payne. "I loved drawing since I was in the 6th grade. I won 2nd place in the Houston Live Stock Rodeo when I was in the 8th grade, but I didn’t stop there. I studied architecture in the eleventh grade and went to pursue a career as a Cad Drafter in Phoenix Arizona. I’ve worked in this field for 8 years before the recession in August 5th, 2008. But back in 2007 I sat in my back yard wondering what I could use for a logo in my clothing business I designed all sorts of logos, but it did not tell me why I wanted it. Then it happened. My back yard was looking weird, and then I looked up and saw a Lunar Eclipse for the first time, August 28th, 2007. That was it; I searched on line to find out the meanings and reasons for an Eclipse. Then I designed a logo based off of it. The Eclipse lasted for more than 3 hours."

My job was to take care of more then one project at a time. I was attending various projects all over the valley such as White Tank Foothills, Boulders at White Peak, Superblock 11, Superblock 1 South, Diamond P Ranch, and many more. I was able to design the project, submit to the client, and it the client was happy with the work, I would submit copies to the city along with the markups and type up a transmittal. I had to submit each and every project the same way and also keep up with the submittal dates. Preparation played a huge factor in this position.

I was involved in designing a water pump station with Aihua Tang PHD. I did the drafting side of the project and by the end of the work; we finished an 18-mgd recycled water pump station, including pumps, piping, controls, and chlorination system. My main responsibilities were to set up and render contract drawings per the engineers redlines.
