He has advised the U.S. Department of Energy, Fortune 500 companies, and energy trade organizations on regulatory risks, energy procurement, and market assessment. Chris is a subject matter expert on DOE's Appliance and Equipment Energy Efficiency program and the Federal rulemaking process. He is currently focused on helping domestic and international regulatory bodies design and implement energy efficiency policies.

At the World Resources Institute, Chris led a consortium of Fortune 500 companies focused on scaling up renewable energy adoption and advocating for well-crafted energy legislation. He convened regional workshops, proposed new purchasing models, educated participants on climate legislation, and worked to accelerate demand for renewable power. In 2009, he helped the Green Power Market Development Group reach its decade-long goal, having the consortium of 24 companies supporting over 1,000MW of green power. The goal was achieved through a combination of REC purchases, direct support for renewable energy power projects, and on-site generation. Chris was editor for The Bottom Line, a publication about energy policy issues tailored for business audiences.

As Senior Product Manager for investment management at Thomson Reuters, Chris was responsible for revenue growth from content sets tailored for investment managers. He defined product strategy, designed web-based data products, coordinated with development teams, and oversaw integration of features into the ThomsonONE platform. Chris evangelized new features to sales teams and oversaw 30% revenue growth to $30M over two years. He also oversaw data feed products and doubled the number of data feed clients.

As a Contract Program Manager at Microsoft, Chris oversaw the design and development of web applications. Charged with improving responsiveness to enterprise clients, he helped implement operational changes that led to a 65% reduction in average issue resolution times for key accounts.

Chris was the marketing analyst for the financial services division of Trilogy Software, an enterprise software company. Chris designed surveys, created marketing collateral, developed cold calling campaigns, and coordinated inside sales. For Trilogy’s signature trade show, Chris increased financial services attendance by 300%.

Chris developed medical devices used to collect blood and salvage red blood cells for surgical patients. He prototyped designs and tested them during orthopedic procedures. Chris wrote product specifications, created the manufacturing plan, and oversaw initial production runs.
