Green City Challenge is a race around Manhattan by 20 bike riders or 10 teams of two riders, to learn to be Greener New Yorkers. These challengers stop at challenge sites and our tested on recycling, composting, re-using, trade in, swap, and being Carbon Neutral. This years winning team was Candle 79, an Organic and Vegan Restaurant in NYC.Eco Friendly Printer, Zipcar, Tekserve, Bike & Roll, and Nyserda were our Silver and Gold Sponsors and they will be our sponsors next year as well.Tekserve was also a destination challenge and the challengers were tested at their store on hi tech recycling. What to do with old computers, and cell phones.
