Hello! I'm Elena Noss, but most people call me El. I am the creator of Eco Inc - Design + Consultancy.Upon completing a BS in Architecture at the University of Minnesota (2003), I wanted to concentrate my efforts on sustainable design for my master's studies. At the time, there were a mere 3 programmes in the USA that could accommodate my environmentalist ideals. I found myself inspired to study at the Oxford School of Architecture to obtain a Master's Diploma in Sustainable & Energy Efficient Building (2004). I enjoyed life in the UK so much, that I have been contentedly settled in Southampton with my husband and son since graduating. I have enjoyed two positions at top local architectural practices. The first utilised only my design skills, but were not interested in sustainability. At the second, I found that sustainable consultancy and assessments dominated my workload, and suddenly I had no time to be apart of a design team! Finally, Eco Inc was born out of my desire to both provide solid Sustainable Consultancy and Good Design.
