London-based Clinical Psychologist, having recently qualified in October 2024.My doctoral thesis, titled "Psychological Trauma and Affective Processing: Neural Insights From Childhood to Adulthood", broadly explored the neural correlates of affective (emotional) processing tasks in eliciting hypothesised post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)-related symptomology in trauma-exposed individuals. This comprises a systematic review and empirical paper, both intended to publish in journals in 2025.I have specialist interests and expertise in developmental and acquired neurodiversity and disability, and I am a keen advocate for improving access to psychological services. My therapeutic leanings include systemic therapy, narrative therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).In my newly qualified roles, I aim to further develop my skills in offering psychological therapies and conducting service-related research prior to specialising in an area of clinical psychology.
