The issues of the complex supply chains are real and these issues have been examined and discussed in this project.The purpose of this study is to uncover ways in which sustainability and technology can be applied to supply chains in order to improve transparency. Firstly, there will be an exploration of the complexity of the supply chains. This will be followed by an examination of the impact of the social and environmental issues caused by the lack of transparency of supply chains. Lastly, these issues will be examined in the context of the literature of technological innovation, in particular Blockchain technology. This examination will allow the formulation of recommendations that will give opportunities to tackle these issues. Show less
