As an emerging producer, I am currently participating in an 18-month fellowship program designed to equip me with the professional and personal skills necessary to bring my first project to life. This comprehensive program offers a series of workshops, masterclasses, and personalized mentorship with influential figures from the local and international TV and film industry. Additionally, the program provides funding and facilitates networking opportunities, ensuring that fellows like myself gain the essential skills and build a network crucial for a successful and enduring career in the Dutch film industry.

A liaison between the production: producer & director - and talent.Responsible for organizing and facilitating the casting of talent (actors and extras) to fill out the roles in a commercial, film, or television production. I am involved from the very beginning in the pre-production phase until the end of production.I will read the script to determine which talent might fit well in the roles and work with the producers to determine the casting needs and the budget for the actors. I personally strive to provide a safe environment for the talent throughout the entire process.My duties include:- Reading scripts and making notes on characters.- Discussing with producers and the director which actors are a good fit.- The contact person for the actors and asking them to audition. - Helping the talent with the process.- Negotiates actor fees before the production.

Content Writer for Colourful Leaders Blog. I interviewed eight inspirational business leaders of color for this series who shared their personal journey of success. Each one shared how they made it all the way up the corporate ladder, and the lessons they learned in the process. These articles will give the reader an insight into the tools these men and women had to administer in order to overcome adversity as a person of color in the workplace.
