Manage subordinate teams consisting of 40+ members supporting the following technologies: HP-UX, AIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Solaris, and z/OS mainframe. Provides direction for all functions within the Open Systems section, and manages day to day operations of more than 1000 Unix / Linux servers and two mainframes.

Leads a team of personnel that are responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of Citrix software, appliances, and operating systems on several networks. Responsible for coordinating work from within the team and maintaining cross team communications as dependencies arise. Assesses existing architecture and design of current Citrix environments against command priorities and develops procedures and priorities of work to move the architecture in line with the commands business requirements.

As the Team Lead for the Accessions Command, Work Station Development Team, consisting of 8 Developers and 3 Project Leads I provided technical guidance and oversight for all projects. This included assigning resources to each project, monitoring the progress, proofing all outside communication to the command on the project. I also scheduled and led meetings with diverse audiences to gain concurrence to move the project through each milestone. While each project would vary in size and scope most had a target customer base of more than 20,000 users. Creating documentation to train all other IT support staff on how to configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot any release from the team was also part of my assigned duties.

As a member of the United States Army Accessions Command, Work Station Development Team, I provide systems administration; systems analysis and other operations support on new or existing systems and subsystems of the USAAC ADP and communication network and workstation support systems to include databases on a state-of-the-art global network. Using latest technologies develop baseline images to support more than 100 different hardware platforms and configurations. Develop, debug, test, and document code for applications using various programming languages, which follow current best practices, to include abort conditions and most efficient programming techniques is part of my daily responsibilities.
