Special Education Teacher
Current~ Develop and implement daily lesson plans, instruction and behavior management for multiple grades, ages, and abilities of students significantly impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder and communication delays~ Bring interactive learning ideas to lesson plans~ Provide open lines of communication between students, parents and staff fostering progression of learning~ Write ETR's (Evaluation Team Report) to identify the disability and determining the appropriate educational needs~ Write IEP's (Individual Education Plan) to address specific needs, set performance goals, and track progress~ Collect data and produce progress reports based on IEP goals & objectives~ Maintain compliance with state education standards~ Implement personalized coping and learning strategies ~ Collaborate with and manage Paraprofessionals~ Extremely organized, understanding, patient & adaptable in order to maintain consistency in the classroom
