The 2024-2025 school year will be my first serving the Francis Howell School District as Principal at Becky-David Elementary. As a Francis Howell resident, I’m excited about the opportunity to collaborate with parents, community members, and educators in the district where I live.Previously, I served the Hazelwood School District for 15 years. I had the opportunity to learn at a variety of places and roles including 4 years as Principal at Cold Water Elementary, 1 year as Assistant Principal at Hazelwood North Middle School, 2 years as Instructional Specialist at Twillman Elementary, and 8 years as an English Language Arts Teacher at Hazelwood Central Middle School. In the Hazelwood School District, I also had experience in the district's Aspiring Leadership Preparation System, as a Summer School Site Coordinator, and in a variety of different district committees ranging from standards-based grading to school scheduling. Serving as a building principal is a dream come true. My future professional ambitions include teaching adjunct in educational leadership and serving in a human resources or professional learning role in a central office capacity. I enjoy volunteering my time with the Sigma Chi fraternity, coaching youth sports. running, and spending time with my family.
