An East Tennessee native, Dr. Ed Bolden’s 27 year career has motivated him from traditional allopathic healthcare to a passion for alternative healing and the promotion of a holistic (mind, body, spirit) approach to wellness. In 1986 as part of a life change process designed to help better understand himself and his purpose in the world, he established as his life mission simply, “to improve the human condition”. His faith in God and his Progressive Christian ideology are foundational to his desire to make the world a better place for everyone. Residing in Knoxville, Tennessee he is the President and Founder of Arbor College- School of Massage. In June, 2011 he was appointed by the Governor of Tennessee, Bill Haslam to the Tennessee Massage Licensure Board, and was elected Board President in November, 2012. As part of his expanding practice he is a national educator, motivational speaker, writer, healer, and life coach. In his private life his role as father, son, brother, friend, and activist are the most important roles to this self described “geek”.
