He was subsequently elected as a partner at PwC where he led their People and Change consulting practice. I write and speak on a variety of issues relating to transformational leadership and strategy execution with organizations such as InterAction (Washington, DC) and the International Civil Society Centre (Berlin). Based on research conducted with over 340 organizations around the globe, I co-authored Strategic Speed: Mobilize People, Accelerate Execution (Harvard Business Review Press, June 2010), which provides a blueprint for leaders who are executing transformational change in their organizations.I earned my Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. While at Penn, I also attended The Wharton School of Finance and completed a Certificate in Business Administration. Before entering the consulting profession, I practiced psychotherapy at Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic, the Philadelphia Veterans Hospital, and at Philadelphia Psychiatric Clinic. I am currently a strategic advisor to the NeuroLeadership Institute (NYC) – an international organization that applies the insights of brain science to organizational change and leadership development.
