Responsibilities included analyzing changes required for the customers’ processing needs both from the business and technical perspectives, and coding, testing, and documenting these modifications. All aspects of the system were included, from the V-1 major processing modules to the Repetitive Payment System, and everything in-between.Also helped create a PC-based interface to the mainframe system. The interface was written in MicroFocus COBOL Dialog Systems and Visual Basic. The system requested and captured the required data, and emulated a CICS terminal in communicating this data to and from the mainframe.
