Currently I'm maintenance supervisor at the Shell Moerdijk site and as such responsible for 2 big Chemical facilities known as the MSPO plants.Together with a small team of direct reports I manage the total maintenance effort to make sure the MSPO facilities operate well within all legal and industry standards, while being competitive at the same time.I started my career in production upstream on offshore facilities and developed myself via downstream production over the years in an experienced manager and expert in the field of maintenance and reliability. I worked my whole life in manufacturing environment and have a strong belief that a good combined organized production and maintenance effort makes the commercial difference. To support this believe I have the drive to educate, motivate and enable people to understand what it takes to make the difference for the company.
