I am currently engaged in the digital camera industry, serving as the AF firmware R&D engineer in 3A (AE, AWB, AF). AF, as the name suggests, is Auto Focus. Every camera needs this function. Focus, so that the subject can be clearly reflected in the digital photo, without it, the user must slowly adjust their own feeling of the subject, to be clear or blurred, of course, AF and Lens are inseparable , A good Lens will make the AF control more stable and faster to reach the focus position, and also affect the resolution of the photo, how much the detail of the subject can be resolved, the wide field of view, the resolution in the center of the lens, the lens The surrounding resolution will allow users to feel the difference between them.In my current job, in addition to writing the AF algorithm, I also need to put the Motor IC of the Lens on the Main board at the beginning, use the SPI or I2C interface to communicate, and then use the UART to debug, and Use the command control under the TeraTerm tool, so that the Lens can achieve the control I want, such as the movement of Zoom and Focus, the switching control of Aperture and Shutter, in addition to these, it is also necessary to write the calibration process, because each Lens is not completely produced. It's the same, then it needs to be reinforced according to the correction value. In addition, I often communicate across departments, such as integrating with Firmware in the system department, and improving the resolution of Lens in the opto-mechanical department, and develop according to the functions required by customers.
