Having worked for Arconic and its predecessor Alcoa for 34 years, in progressively more responsible roles in product development, marketing, operations, quality, R&D and customer facing functions, including Chief Metallurgist, Application Engineering Manager, Quality Manager and Technical Director Aerospace., Ed Colvin retired as Vice President Technology for the Engineered Structures business unit where he led product development from conception to full implementation and supported continuing production. Working on aluminum, titanium and nickel alloys, Ed has extensive experience in aerospace structures, propulsion, defense, automotive and other demanding applications of the two companies that have subsequently formed, Howmet Aerospace and Arconic.
