My responsibilities are first and foremost Safety #1 priority then oversee 4 Shift Production Supervisors, a total of 132 full time employees, an average of 40 temp employees. I track and control Kronos, Personnel, LCPU, Production, Scrap, Spoilage, Regrind, and Housekeeping. Work hand and hand with Quality, Processing, and Maintenance to insure smooth operations.

Process Supervisor
My responsibilities are to maintain and process a variety of containers on Extrusion Blow Molders; Sig, Krupp, Impco, Cincinnati Milacron, Sterling, Bekum and some Wheel. Work with and train all Machine Attendants. Evaluate and implement proper process procedures to insure all machines are operating at the required OEE standards. Troubleshoot and implement all machine maintenance. Track and chart OEE performance, scrap, rejects and peaces produced. Work closely with Quality Control to insure the products being produced are running within the required specs. Along with the assistance of the hourly and management team I am continuously reviewing the processes and machine designs looking for ways for improvement.
Production Manager
Maintain staffing for department of 37 employees, interfacing with temporary services, control overtime, vacation coverage, attendance, discipline, hiring, and succession planning within the company. Meet with team leaders on a daily basis to review issues and planning. Providing direction, guidance and training to optimize the skill of all production personnel and technicians. I complete monthly finished goods inventory. Balance production and inventory on a daily basis. Interface with the quality, administration, and shipping departments to schedule customer shipments. Address CAR’s (Corrective Action Reports). I work directly with the customer in regard to scheduling, shipping, and quality issues. Insuring all machine job changes are done as scheduled and in a timely manner. Responsible for the efficiency and process reliability of all processes, optimizing the cycle times while insuring the machines are producing products of the highest quality with a target of 1.33 ppk using an Infinity data base used in the Quality department. I am responsible for all sampling of new products within the plant. Responsible for the mold shop, insuring the tooling and mold pm’s are completed correctly. Communicate with mold venders for annual pms, mold issues, and designs. Tracking and scheduling molds for annual pms. Control department spending and authorize PO's. Promote team building with all employees throughout the company. I am a Green belt in Lean 6 sigma. I am a team member of numerous lean and 6 sigma projects. Interface with Maintenance Supervisor and assist the Technicians with any machine, facility issues, and plant improvements. Monitor and maintain good housekeeping and GMP practices. I am the point of contact with utility companies regarding outages, repairs and etc.
