When I first started DBS Building Services 19 years ago, our first big job was the 2002 Olympics. We were hired to keep the Maverick center cleaned in between different Olympics events. A few of these events were back-to-back, and the manager who hired us said it needed to be cleaned - no matter what - for the next event. The shortest time in between events was 15 minutes one time, and we crushed it. I had my team trained to a tee, and our efficiency was critical to getting the job done in time. This is part of why DBS Building Services has been successful. I train my employees the right way, and it shows in the cleanliness of the buildings we clean. In fact, we performed so well that we earned an important recognition: “Best Operational Company of the 2002 Winter Olympics Award”. My biggest motivation in my life has always been my family. It’s so important to me that my family is happy and able to pursue their dreams. Right after my family, what’s made me the happiest these last 19 years is keeping my clients happy. It helps that my superpower is the power of gab. I love talking with my clients, and becoming their friend. I am an immigrant from Brazil, and became a citizen of the best country in the world, something I am very proud of. I worked hard to learn the language, to provide value to my community, and I am so happy I was given a chance to become a citizen here.
