Sole programmer on the Genome Browser program used by the Genotyping Console 2.0 software. The browser is used to view regions of copy number variation in human chromosomes as revealed by Affymetrix microarray experiments. This program is based on work from IGB and the GenoViz project.Collaborated on the design and implementation of the NetAffx website, an HTML and JSP-based interface to Affymetrix' collection of annotations that help customers make sense of data from our GeneChip arrays.Developed data formats for making NetAffx data publicly available.

Co-developed the Integrated Genome Browser (IGB).IGB is a free, open-source, Java program for visualization of genomic annotations in the context of chromosomal coordinates. It is often used to view experimental results from DNA microarrays. (See http://genoviz.sourceforge.net )I also wrote a user manual for IGB, and I help to develop, maintain, debug, document, and support IGB and related code. Participated in the development of the DAS/2 protocol for distributing genomic annotation data, principally by helping implement DAS/2 client functionality in IGB. That work was supported by NIH grant R01HG003040.
