Accepted position of Government Account Manager for the SE Region and had repsonsibilty for 5 states (FL,GA,AL,MS&TN) for driving and growing government business while gaining mindshare from government agencies, government distribution partners and internal customers as well. My responsibilty included making end user agency calls, increasing small business dealers to resell to the federal government, training the dealers on government contracts, joint selling activities and blitzes,managaged registered projects and was also selected the QB for The HON Company for the US Army Corp of Engineers in Huntsville. Also worked with designers and influencers in creating specifications for larger projects using the HON brand. I was fornutate to work with such strong proffesional Territory Managers within my region who are extremely dedicated to growing their government sales by aligning themseleves stratigically with company goals. In 2010, one of my Territory Managers earned the US National Territory Manager of the Year, very happy and proud for him as the majority of his growth came through government sales. I was proud that I was able to deliver positive growth year over year in this position.

Began career with The HON Company serving as Territory Manager in North Florida and Eastern Georgia. Grew the territory over 300% in a 5 year period with the help and wonderful distribution partners in the selected marketplace. Fortunate enough to earn TM of the Year for the SE Region two years in a row while earning the National Territory Manager of the Year is my second year. During this tenure, gained valuable experience in working with education, federal as well as state and local agencies. The dealer network community was extremely supportive and helped with the growth and success of this territory.

Personally generated $2-$2.5 million dollars annually in furniture sales for thisdealership.

Worked part time as furniture consultant while attending the University of Florida. This is where I started my furniture career.
