    The most amazing thing happened to me this year...I won a Baker Artists b grant Award. "At the beginning I was a meteorologist who did art, today I am an artist who did meteorology"​Today I am a visionary artist /sculptor working with found objects. I have doing this for 25 years. I was a meteorologist and environmental consultant for 50 years in both the government and the private sector. I worked for the National Weather Service for over 35 years and received the DOC Silver Metal for the creation of AM Weather a 15 minute weathercast for pilots and farmers on over 200 Public Broadcasting Stations across the country. I also led the National Weather Service team that helped get The Weather Channel off the ground in 1982. In 2001 I was elected a fellow of the American Meteorological Society and in 2014 I was a receipient of William H. Baker, Jr. b-Grant Award.
