Orion Governance’s product is Enterprise Intelligence Information Graph, an automatic data governance and lineage tool. At this startup I performed both pre-sales and post-sales activities including demos, videos, and using customer feedback to encourage improvements to both product and documentation. I also managed extended proofs of concepts for prospects; each one that I managed from beginning to end resulted in a sale.

I designed and implemented analytics solutions for several of Flagship’s marquee customers. I used cloud-based technologies to fetch data from disparate sources, display the data in dashboards, implement machine learning models, and create data governance solutions. I was also responsible for pre-sales discussions and demos for prospective customers related to analytics, machine learning and hybrid cloud technologies.

In a nutshell, I provide technical enablement to ISVs and system integrators, doing everything from conducting workshops, presenting introductory material, performing problem determination and providing advice on feature use and architecture. I travel extensively worldwide, mostly in the Asia Pacific region and MEA. I provide functional and architectural advice for partners who are adopting IBM products and I conduct introductory calls with prospective partners. I frequently conduct workshops consisting of business motivation, use cases, and hands-on technical work. I typically develop and adapt the hands-on instructional material to be appropriate for business partners Over the course of my IBM career, I have performed this function for numerous products. My strengths lie in my ability to quickly explore and absorb new technology and explain and evangelize it to our partners. Recently, I’ve been focused mostly on Blockchain and the Watson portfolio. Previously, I led teams working on IBM’s Platform as a Service, IBM Mobile Foundation, and the Business Process Management portfolio.Results of the work I do are measured in terms of influence on channel revenues. I’ve been consistently highly rated within IBM based on those criteria.

I managed a team of 6-10 software developers and then transitioned to CTO. I was a member of the TMF standards committee and led technical engagement efforts with telcos worldwide.
