Lead a team of 6 Account Executives in the Service group at Trane Chicago as a player-coach. I helped bring visibility to control and energy opportunities and helped develop those opportunities with my team.

I worked for the Trane Aurora franchise office. We worked on every piece of Trane equipment that was made at the time. It was a great learning environment. I was introduced to controls during this time and was involved in installing and assisting programming control systems at multiple locations. At this time we were responsible for finding all new service work. We had no sales people selling projects for the office. In 1994 I developed a TK opportunity to convert an all-electric building to gas heat. I calculated the energy savings, did the CAD sold the project with an estimated 2-year payback that turned out to less than 12 months. This was my first Project Management job, as well as selling it I did the PM work and some of the installation as well.
